This barrel is insane. I had a stock extened barrel which was already pretty good. I did a ton of research on tippann barrels and this is the one I choose to go with and im so glad I did. It will increase your accuracy and distance so much it will blow your mind. The only barrel better then this one is the straight line barrel. But with this one You'll save about a hundred bucks.So for performence for your dollar this barrel is amazing.

I bought this barrel for my project salvo, and after reading reviews, i expected straight shots, and long range shots, well after putting this is my marker and gassing it up, and loading some paintballs, (Cheap paintballs, maybe thats my problem, im hoping so!, its Wrek Elite paintballs) I took my first shot, curved like crazy, ok no biggy, its just the first shot, took a couple more, one curved to the left, then another to the right, then one curved up, and then the rest of my paintballs, just shot in different directions, when i did get one straight shot, it went extremly far, and decently straight, so i was a little disapointed, but then i loaded some frozen paintballs in it, then things got really funny, i had balls, doing spirals in the air, some curving, some flying straight, then curving left, then right, it was pretty entertaing, but its not bad, it does increase range a fair amount, Not bad 3 stars.

You cant beat this barrel for the price verry accurate.Also fits project salvo and alpha black just fine
Good Barrel January 17, 2010

A present for my 20 year old home from college who has a 98 Custom PS, (I think). He loved it and had a great time nailing everything in our back yard. Better range and power and looks: and a good length for maneuvering.
Only minor flaw was that the diameter is a bit smaller than the stock barrel where the shroud covers it. He didn't care and was very happy.

I have only used this barrel in a speedball setting, but it works great for anyone playing the back or even mid position. I am now able to shoot anyone on the back line from my own with good accuracy and without having to worry about if the ball will suddenly curve or bounce. This barrel has made my marker much more useful as a back position, and even levels the playing feild with most electros. They may be fast, but the operator usually can't aim worth a damn. Now I can sit back and pick them off. Can't recommend this barrel enough. A cheap but invaluable upgrade to any Tippmann 98C.
